‘Jason and the Argonauts’ is one of the most enduring tales out of the Greek Pantheon. Jason, an archetypal hero and favorite of the goddess Athena, commissioned a ship from the master shipbuilder, Argo. On this ship, Jason and his crew survived many grand adventures. 

One of the best known—and least tragic—is Jason’s search for the Golden Fleece, a magical relic once belonging to the god Hermes. Geocachers who travel to Cyprus have the chance to channel Jason’s epic quest while searching for The Argo, a cache hidden in a giant sculpture of Jason’s mythical ship, and our Geocache of the Week.

Out with the old, in with these two new souvenirs!

Geocachers accomplished a lot in 2019! We celebrated cache creation with a worldwide Cache Carnival, we found lots of new Virtual Caches thanks to Virtual Rewards 2.0, we became master sleuths and collected clues to solve the Mystery at the Museum, and we Streaked for a whole Week at the end of August!

The year is not over yet, and we’ve got much more geocaching excitement in store for 2020! Get ready geocachers, because the 20th anniversary of geocaching is just the start.

Anunciamos dos nuevos souvenirs: ¡Adiós 2019, Hola 2020!

¡Fuera lo viejo, dentro estos dos nuevos souvenirs! ¡Los geocachers lograron mucho en 2019! Celebramos la creación de cachés con un Caché Carnaval mundial, encontramos muchos nuevos cachés virtuales gracias al Virtual Rewards 2.0, nos convertimos en detectives maestros y recopilamos pistas para resolver el misterio en el museo, y tuvimos una racha durante una semana completa a fines de agosto !

¡El año aún no ha terminado, y tenemos mucha más emoción en reserva para 2020! Preparaos geocachers, porque el 20 aniversario del geocaching es solo el comienzo.

Aankondiging van twee nieuwe souvenirs: Goodbye 2019, Hello 2020!

Eruit met het oude, erin met deze twee nieuwe souvenirs! Geocachers hebben veel bereikt in 2019! We hebben de creatie van caches gevierd met een wereldwijd Cache Carnival, we hebben veel nieuwe Virtuele caches gevonden dankzij Virtual Rewards 2.0, we werden meesterspeurders en verzamelden aanwijzingen om het Mysterie in het Museum op te lossen en we vonden een week lang iedere dag een cache aan het eind van augustus!

Het jaar is nog niet voorbij en we hebben nog veel meer geocachespanning in petto voor 2020! Bereid je voor geocachers, want de viering van 20 jaar geocachen is slechts het begin.
