Just relax. Sail through time… back to yesteryear.
Travel back in time with us to May of 2000 when our Geocache of the Week was placed, Geocache by Kevin Anderson (Wellington), GC46.
In a hole in the ground lived a hobbit… and perhaps the most enchanting Multi-Cache in all of Middle Earth.
The Shire is a starting point for many great journeys, and our Geocache of the Week is no exception. Travel with us to the North Island of New Zealand to uncover the secrets of this land; we’re headed “There And Back Again” for GC3VBMT.

The lush, green moss dangling from the trees drape over the hiking trail on the way to a quaint hidden resting spot with a geocache. This ancient, red beech forest has an array of bird species, hiking paths, and glimpses of the eye-popping fjords between the trees. This Geocache of the Week serves as another dazzling example of the locations where geocaching can unexpectedly take you.
