La dernière mise à jour contient davantage d’amélioration sur les fonctionnalités de base de l’appli Geocaching® et quelques autres ajouts sympathiques également.
Tout d’abord, nous avons ajouté les DNFs sur la carte ! Une fois que vous trouverez une cache précédemment non trouvée, le smiley jaune remplacera l’icône du DNF. Les DNFs (Did Not Finds) auront désormais une icône distincte qui les rendra plus facile à repérer à la fois sur la carte et dans les Listes.

Als erstes haben wir DNFs auf der Karte ergänzt! Wenn Du einen Cache findest, der vorher einen DNF (nicht gefunden) enthielt, ersetzt der gelbe Smiley das DNF-Symbol. DNFs bekommen jetzt ein eigenes Symbol, damit sie sowohl auf der Karte als auch in Listen leicht zu sehen sind.
Als nächstes wollen wir Euch sagen, dass wir Euch zugehört haben. Schließlich gibt es Geocaching wegen Euch, unserer Gemeinschaft! Deswegen freuen wir uns zu verkünden, dass Ihr jetzt Attribute 
in der App ansehen könnt. Das ist eine Funktion, die sich viele von Euch gewünscht haben! Die Cache-Detailseite zeigt Euch bis zu 5 Attribute mit der Möglichkeit, mehr auf einer separaten Seite anzusehen. Außerdem werden Attribute beim Speichern eines Caches für den Offlinegebrauch mitgespeichert.
Wie bei den meisten Updates haben wir auch andere kleine Verbesserungen gemacht und Fehler behoben.
Das Update 5.4 beinhaltet eine verbesserte Funktion zum Abspeichern von Offline-Listen, leichteren Zugang zum Hilfe-Center und mehr. Geht in die Geocaching-Foren, um mehr über diese Updates zu erfahren.

Spanning the globe and the seven seas, we introduce you to the infamous Captain Mary Hyde. Her ship, The Golden Cache, was the fiercest, and the bearded buccaneers and sea legged sailors reported to her. Legend has it that she ruled the high seas for many years, and found no shortage of riches throughout her reign.
We’ve come upon a battered letter, found in a bottle on the shore near Geocaching HQ, with the infamous crest of Captain Mary Hyde. It seems there is one last treasure yet to be found.
What is Geotrip’17?
In 2011, a group of geocachers from the Netherlands set a geocaching record when they found 15 geocaches in 15 countries within 24 hours. Six years later, a group of Finnish geocachers were up to the challenge to break this record. Harjus, Rimaju, Weellu and Wesbridge embarked on Geotrip ‘17 on April 15, 2017 from the Netherlands just a second past midnight. They reached their final destination in Poland at 10:25 pm the same day 22 hours and 25 minutes later, setting the new record!
Normally, one must take a ferry to find the remote geocache, “The Sanctuary of Monteisola” in Lombardia, Italy. Then, one must hike for an hour uphill, passing small hamlets along the way with century-old churches filled with frescoes and statues. The views are spectacular, glorious, and oh-so-romantic.
