What a year it has been! For many of us, geocaching may have been the one thing that didn’t change in a year full of uncertainty. Sure, we had our fair share of postponed plans (lookin’ at you 20th Anniversary Celebration) and our times of lockdown leaving us to dream of future cache outings. But always ready and waiting for our return are the three million-plus geocaches, the hundreds of thousands of cache owners, the hundreds of community volunteers, and of course, geocachers all over the world. In a year full of disruption, we sure came together.

We’ve all been there: we set lofty goals for the year and suddenly, life (or just 2020) happens, and come November your resolutions are long forgotten. Thankfully, we are introducing a handy new feature that makes it a whole lot easier to set a goal and stick to it. If you’ve been wanting to fill your Difficulty and Terrain grid, it’s time to revisit it with the new ability to search for all the specific combinations you are missing.

Searching by attributes is now available to Premium members in the Advanced Search filters on the Geocaching® app and on Geocaching.com.
