Nouveau rebondissement dans l’univers des EarthCaches : la Géologie Planétaire sur Terre

Saviez-vous que Mars présente des caractéristiques géologiques telles que des volcans, de rivières, des avalanches, des glaciers et des sédiments, comme c’est le cas sur Terre ? C’est vrai ! En fait, il existe un grand nombre de caractéristiques géologiques qui sont communes aux deux planètes.

Le Perseverance Rover ayant parcouru plus de la moitié du chemin vers Mars et étant équipé d’un code trackable sur Geocaching.com, le Geocaching HQ et la Geological Society of America sont ravis de donner aux géocacheurs la possibilité de voir et de connaître les caractéristiques géologiques de la Terre qui existent également sur Mars.
C’est pourquoi nous introduisons une nouvelle série de EarthCaches : la Géologie Planétaire sur Terre.

Our 2020 plans may have looked a little different, but many of us know the simple joy of caching while on vacation. While caching can take us to new places off the tourist trail, it can also enhance our experience at popular destinations. The Sagrada Família, a basilica in Barcelona, is the most visited landmark in Spain. Although cachers are delighted to be able to log a smiley here, the high amount of muggles means geocachers must break out their best geostealth moves at our Geocache of the Week, Sagrada Família (GC52N0E).
