This month’s spotlight brings us to the tiny town of Vining, Minnesota, in the American Midwest. In the 2020 census, Vining registered a population of 62 people, but don’t be deceived by that number. This small town is home to a collection of large sculptures that make it well worth a visit. And lucky for you explorers, there is an Adventure, The Whimsical Sculptures Of Ken Nyberg, at the Nyberg Sculpture Park, that guides you through the artwork.

KempenseGeoBuddies spark creativity and delight at KGB3 Mega-Event
The KGB 3 experience was far more than just a Mega-Event—it was a multi-day geocaching adventure, featuring eight events over five days. I had the opportunity to attend six of these events, including the Mega-Event (GCAFKGB) and was so impressed. It’s hard to believe that a team of just 10 people (the KempenseGeoBuddies, KGB for short) could coordinate such a variety of activities so smoothly, let alone manage all eight with such attention to detail.
