You’re on a geocaching roll, earning smileys left and right. With so many finds piling up, it’s tempting to post a TFTC and leave it at that…
(Cue the screeching halt.) Before you do, give us a chance to convince you otherwise.

And the winner is…
The geocaching community has spoken. The Mission 9: Tunnel of Light APE cache will be returned to its original location and restored to active APE cache status. Once reactivated, the cache will be loggable throughout the year.
We will reactivate the APE cache on August 19, 2017, the date of the Going Ape 2017 Mega-Event at Washington’s Iron Horse State Park.
More than 10,000 geocachers helped make this decision. (Read the February 20th blog for more about the ballot choices.) Here are the results:

17% — Activate Once A Year
13% — Display at Geocaching HQ
9% — Traveling Artifact
Many of you argued passionately on all sides of this issue. In the end, the consensus from the community was clear.
We understand people around the world are eager for more details. In the coming weeks, Geocaching HQ will work closely with the Washington State Geocaching Association (organizer of the Going Ape Mega-Event) and we will keep you updated as plans are made.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the process. From the Seattle-area cachers who rediscovered the long lost APE cache to the thousands who helped write its next chapter!

3 raisons qui font que rédiger un beau log en vaut la peine :
1 : Vous ferez plaisir au propriétaire de la cache.
Oui, les propriétaires des caches lisent vos logs. Assurez-vous de les remercier du fond du cœur.
2 : Des logs réfléchis aideront les futurs chercheurs.
Est-ce que le coin a changé ? Avez-vous trouvé la géocache plus compliquée que la cotation de difficulté accordée ? Les géocacheurs apprécieront ces informations (mais attention à ne pas gâcher la surprise).
3 : Enregistrez un moment mémorable.
Les logs sont comme un journal intime du géocaching, qui vous aide à vous souvenir des meilleurs moments — et des plus drôles.
C’est tout nouveau : les Brouillons.
Les Brouillons sont maintenant sur l’application Geocaching®. Les Brouillons vous permettent de commencer à écrire un log sur le terrain avec l’application Geocaching®, et de les finir plus tard sur l’application ou sur Geocaching.com. Avant, cette fonctionnalité était appelée Notes de terrain.

2: Durchdachte Logeinträge helfen zukünftigen Suchenden.
Hat sich die Umgebung des Caches verändert? Hast Du den Geocache schwieriger gefunden, als die Schwierigkeitswertung angibt? Geocacher schätzen solche Informationen – aber hinterlasse keine Spoiler.
3: Gestalte einen geschichtsträchtigen Moment.
Logeinträge sind wie ein Geocaching-Tagebuch, sie helfen Dir, Dich an diese tollen Momente zu erinnern – und an die Lustigen.
Erwähnenswert: Entwürfe.
Entwürfe sind jetzt in der Geocaching® App. Entwürfe ermöglichen es Dir einen Logeintrag unterwegs in der Geocaching® App zu beginnen und ihn später in der App der auf Geocaching.com zu beenden. Diese Funktion war früher als Feldnotizen bekannt.
